When did Chevy Beretta’s first start using air bags and is it illegal to disengage them?
If you’re 555 I’m 666 asked:
I have a 1990 Chevy Beretta that I’m restoring and like cars without airbags, I’m eventually gonna want to get a newer model but without the airbags in them.
I am only 5’3″ and would prefer to not be decapitated by 300 lbs. of air coming straight at my already ugly face. I Do Not Like Airbags And Refuse To Have Them In My Vehicles.

Why would you want to take the airbags out? You know they are there to help you right? Also, Berettas are slow, ugly pieces of sh!t anyway.
You can disconnect the but it’s against federal law to sell one that has the bags rendered inoperative.
According to what I found the Beretta first started using airbags in late 1990/1991. You can disengage them but I believe it is illegal to sell a car with a disengaged air bag.
