18 inch? Good luck. 15 inch wheels will hold 255′s in the rear. Up to 265 up front.
If you use ‘off-set’ rims, you chances of getting wider tires will be better. Perhaps you can find an answer here or post a question in the forums. A lot of smart guys/gals here…..
ok check it out ….. get ya an 18 inch rim but like that other person said “off-set” meaning different back spacing on the rim… u could honestly put a 8 – 9 inch rim on it and that is using low profile tires ….. check with ur local tire specialist on that they could figure ur back spacing for ya and get u a good deal most the time ( u dont nessecarily have to purches the product from them … there r plenty aftermarket companies that speciallize in that area..buy a hot rod mag or something u will find someone to help ya out ) ….. im getting ready to put 16′s on a 88 celica st..thats after suspension package ( deal at work … ima mechanic)
