My 97 Chevy Blazer died. I thought it was the battery replaced it, but still nothing. There is no electricity going anywhere. It has cause the key to get stuck in the ignition. Next suspect is the alternator. Any other ideas are welcome.
The alternator is a very good posibility but may also be the starter, definatly try to alternator, a good way to check is by using another good battery to start then disconnect the positive cable if the car dies its the alternator if it doesnt start at all its the starter
Ron F Said,
There is a fusible link between the negative battery terminal and the body. check and see if it is good. If you have nothing no lights or anything then that is the likely suspect.
