350 Auto. trans. the car may have popped the freeze plug last year. I also had a small fire inside the hood area las time I had it started. see several leaks of oil and trans. fluid. car ran fine before gave up insuring and getting street legal again

    if you popped a freeze plug you probably dont want to start the motor unless you want the whole of your radiator contents lying on your shop floor. clean up the engine bay, fix the leaks, spray some oil down the spark plug holes, (not much, like maybe half a teaspoon or so). You probably should clean the gas lines and tank out before you try to start it too.
