Hello. I have a 1958 Bel Air 2dr and need to find new front and back seats. Looking to find out what later model car seats will bolt right in without any cutting or any other major modifications. Any help on suggestions from later model years would be greatly appreciated.

I once lived in a small town and there was a car that looked just like a 1957 Chevy Bel Air but MUCH smaller. I now own a classic car restoration shop and have asked many people about this car. I have had one person tell me it is called the “phantom” 57 and it’s origin is unknown. This person claims there are only three or four in existence. I recently went back to this small town only to find the car and the owner no longer reside there. Has anyone ever seen or heard of such a car? If so I would be interested in the history of it as well. Thanks in advance to any plausible answers I get.
There is “such a thing” as I have seen one with my own eyes. I am not saying GM made it, I am just saying it exists and I want to know what it is, a kit car, a proto-type or what.
I searched for Vauxhall classics, nothing there. This car looked EXACTLY like a 57 bel air with the silver inset on the rear fenders and everything. It was just smaller in every aspect, height, width, and length. This may have been a one-off custom. I truly don’t know, just thought I would throw the question out there. At the time, I just never asked the owner about it and when I went back to look at the car and talk with the owner both were gone.

I want to buy a ‘79 Chevy shortbed pickup, but I need to know what deals are good. Does anyone know of any websites that will let me see what they should cost? KBB will only go 20 years back and I do not want to be in any club or have to pay for anything to find out. If you do not know of any sites, do you know what they are running for in your town or in your local papers (and if so, what town it is). Thanks for your help.

I just bought a motorhome with a Chevy 350 in it. The Chassis is an ‘89 Chevrolet 1-ton van. I have never owned a 350 and have no idea what octane I should put in it.

I know that the Chevy big block 427 acquired the nickname “rat motor” and that term was used for other bow tie big blocks as well, along with the small blocks being called “mouse motors”. So, how is it that this terms came into use?

I understand that 1985 is not a smog exempt year, but there are chevy 350’s that do pass smog with the right equipment. By mixing an asian truck and american engine, will it pass?

I am looking at a used 04′ Chevy Colorado. It says that it has the Z71 off road package but it is a 2wd truck. I know the Z71 package is an off road package, so why would it be offered in a 2wd truck?

I have a 1990 Chevy Blazer. 7 inches of lift and 38inch tall TSL tires. I want to rebuild it but what do I need to shop for in the way of cam and piston? I have built a couple of Drag motors but this needs low end. I plan on using the upgraded stock TBI system.
